Looking for ways to grow or improve your tax business? Maximize your time at the forum by participating in this special Monday session. Tax Forum association partners NAEA, NATP, NSA, NSTP and Padgett will present ideas on how you can attract and manage customers, increase your productivity and have a more satisfying work-life balance. This 90-minute session is open to all paid Tax Forum attendees and does not require any additional pre-registration to attend (subject to capacity limits - spaces offered on a first-come, first-served basis). The session will take place on Monday from 5:00pm - 6:30pm.
Bring your client’s toughest unresolved IRS case to the Tax Forum. The Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS), in collaboration with the IRS, offers personalized, one-on-one assistance through the Case Resolution Room (by appointment only). TAS and IRS representatives with specialized expertise will review your client’s case, research the issue, and work toward resolution during your appointment. If additional time is needed, TAS will establish a case and coordinate with the appropriate IRS office.
Plan Ahead – Schedule Your Appointment
Appointments can be scheduled three weeks in advance before the start of each Tax Forum but are limited. Advance scheduling is available to registered attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. Visit the TAS Case Resolution webpage to learn more, confirm eligibility, and book your appointment.
We invite registered Tax Forum attendees to share their experiences and discuss innovative ideas with us in our research studies. The IRS will conduct in-person focus groups, interviews, and surveys this year at each of its Tax Forum locations. Your willingness to participate in IRS-conducted focus groups, interviews, and surveys is completely voluntary. Sign-up for the Focus Groups will take place in-person at a table near conference check-in/registration.
Focus groups are scheduled for one hour, with eight to ten participants. Participants who meet the qualifying criteria are invited to attend the focus group. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. Research interviews are typically 15 minutes or less. Surveys are offered through a QR Code, which can be accessed using your phone. Descriptions of focus group, interview, and survey topics, along with qualifying criteria for participation, will be released this spring.

The session will also provide an opportunity for you to share your lessons learned, hear fellow tax professionals share their experiences and what you expect during filing season 2027. No CE credit will be offered for attending this panel discussion.
